I have an Allison 3000. It has always worked fine. One day I went to pick it up from storage and it wouldn't go into drive, only reverse. I checked the error code and it indicated a low speed sensor problem. I had it towed to the Allison shop and they had it fixed the next morning, at my cost.

After it sat for a day or two the same problem occured, except this time if I went back and forth from reverse to drive it would eventually go into drive. Returned it to the same Allison shop and they replaced the wiring harness and a solenoid for $2000.

While it was in the shop I went online and discovered Allsion had extended the warranty. The dealer did not inform me of this. At least when I showed them the Allsion info they did not charge me, and refuned the first charge.

I brought the coach home and the same problem is occuring if it sits for a day. Once it is going it will work fine until it sits.

Will take it back after the holiday, but they apparantly do not know what the fix for this problem is. It still shows the low speed sensor error code.
