And another Eternabond/Roof Question

I have a water stain on the ceiling in the bedroom area. I have been delaying the Eternabond fix until after the summer heat dies down, The motorhome is in a covered storage area so I was able to put the repair off.

Is there anyone out there that can share a few pictures of a finished roof seal project using Eternabond. I have searched this website and there are topics out there where pictures were once posted, but the pictures all seemed to have dropped off, or else my computer is not opening them.

I see many here talk about the caulking used by Winnebago at the side edge of the roof and the J Gutter. In inspecting my roof, I don't see any evidence of caulk in the area of the roof edge and gutter. I can push against the side of the roof with my thumb in areas and the roof does flex inward in several areas, so I know there are problems.

If anyone has some pictures of the finished project I would love to see them.

Last question. Should I use 2" or 4" inch tape. In searching this site I have seen opinions from each side. My impression is that the 4" would cover more of the roof curve and thus making less of the roof line visible from the ground thus creating a cleaner look. I wonder if the 2", by covering less of the roof curve, would actually not look as "clean" from the ground? My reasoning is that the roof is 12 years old and while white, is faded and would contrast to the new white eternabond tape. Of course, I could just be over thinking everything, lol.

I applied 3" EB over existing 2"EB because the older (6 yrs) 2" EB was deteriorating. I cleaned the old EB with EternaClean spray. You do NOT need to apply UV sealer (RoofSeal EB already has it).

The second pic is the older 2" EB (with deterioration).

The new 3" EB was applied in March 2012 & is holding up (so far). I also taped the Roof Cap line.

Thank you for the picture. That is exactly what I was looking for. I think the 3 inch will work for me.
