Thanks for your excellent post on removing the basement air unit. A friend of mine and I pulled both of ours today and replaced the fans and bearings per your post. The bearings were very hard to turn and I'm glad we got them out when we did. We could not have gotten them done so quick without your pictures and descriptions. We both decided that doing one a day would have been a better idea, but are glad we got them both done. And I'm especially glad Linda did not want to go dancing tonight....
