"A couple of hours" is not nearly long enough to fully charge those batteries by the way.
With a proper 3-stage charger once they reach 90 percent (Which can take "A couple of hours" you need at least 2 hours more for the last 10% of the charge.

On my motor home there are two 30 amp TT-30 outlets on pigtails and a 30 amp TWIST LOCK all hidden in a weather proofed area... I have daisy chained to another RV when their generator failed. These are not on the inverter line however.. they are on the "MAIN" box only, not the sub panel.
Worked out well.. I've also used them to run a ham radio field day.
(I have like 75 feet of very heavy twist lock extension cord and an adapter that lets me take it down to regular 15 amp outlets at the far end.. This was originally used to power my house during times of power fail)
