DW and I just returned from a week long road trip without our wonderful Winnebago Journey. We traveled by car and stayed in very nice hotels and motels ate in fine restruants and had a great time. On the final morning out DW noticed these red welts on her leg. Then she caught this little speck of a thing moving on her skin.

Yep, you guest it BED BUGS. All our lugage and all our clothing is now sitting in our yard contained in heavy plastic bags while we decide what to do with it. I can say for sure it is not going into our home or into our motor home. Maybe a nice fire will be the cure.

Bottom line folks. You will never get bed bugs staying in your RV.

Bummer

Microwave will kill bedbugs, but be carefully with any metals such as zippers.

RV's have their advantages. You know the bed linens are clean because you washed them. The TV entertainment is free because you bring the satellite receiver along. The stuff in the fridge doesn't have a 500 percent markup, and everything in there is stuff you like. You don't have a noisy neighbor just the other side of a paper thin wall. You don't have to worry about the maid walking in. And as you state, no bedbugs!
