We have a Journey '01 and the front TV lost its picture and sound tonight. There was a low level ringing until I pulled the plug. I assume it is time to upgrade as it is probably not worth fixing.

I read various threads on removing the front TV but I still don't see how I can remove the cabinet face so that I can remove the TV and either fix it or upgrade. The face is wood and there are no visible screws.

Has anyone removed this particular model TV and if so, how?

Nick

I believe that your 01 is similar to my 03. There should be 2 or 3 screws into the frame from the cabinets on each side and you remove the plugs on the bottom to access the screws.

Traveler: On my '04 there are 2 screws inside the cabinets on either side of the tv. Taking these 4 screws out will release the wood tv frame and allow it to slip down out of place. Good luck. Sent a PM if you have any more questions.
