Does anyone have any pros or cons for purchasing a 2003 Winnebago Journey DL and is there a place where we can check if the amount being asked is in line with the actual worth of the RV?

You can look it up on NADA. Just go on the internet and type nada and follow instructions; pretty easy. It will be helpful if you have a list of all accessories, mileage, etc.

A friend of ours bought one locally, Moorhead, MN two years ago for $108,000. There was 2004 sold last January in Lake havasu City, AZ for $89,000. Do a search for it on Google and see what others are asking. What are the sellers asking for the one you are looking at?

The very best way is to check with a loan company and see what they will lend you on the purchase. Be aware that this can vary also. Its also worth the price that you are comfortable with after checking online to see what they are selling for. When I bought my last MOHO, I found out that the Loan Companies/Banks are lending now on your Income and not what your Net Worth is.
In my honest opinion, you can't go wrong with a Journey , if you like the floorplan. Good Luck

We just sold our 2002 36' DL. Loved the coach. Purchased another Winnebago Product--downsized due to health. Original tires? If so, you will need new ones and I would suggest upgrading to a large size. Some good info on this site about tires. The front heater core also seems to be a problem around this year---several have started to leak. Other than that---it's a good coach. Good luck--

NADA does not consider mileage a factor when determining the price of a diesel powered coach.

We bought a 2001 Journey 36GD about four months ago. Rig had 42,000 miles on it. Had two good steer tires we put new same size 245's on the rear. 5 new batteries were put in also. We now have put 3500 mile on the rig and it's perfect in every way. Lots of power, the tranny is great and the ride is like silk. Why pay $150,000.00 when you can have super older Journey for half the price? What a complete joy to drive!!!

THank you all for your advice. We bought our Winnebago Journey and are in love with it. It has power to spare.
