Gents,
While I've not tried the well talked about product, I'm curious about its longevity in harsh, non-harsh element conditions. I've been rubbing out fiberglass on coaches for years and yes, it's a severe pain in the a...

It does look good if, it's done correctly and there's a ton of labor involved as well as using the correct products. But, I've read here and on other forums, about the continued use of Red Max Pro. Now, to the best of my knowledge, it's a "Floor wax" for indoor use. I've not even looked at a container of it, just a glance on the i-net of it. So, my question to those of you that have used it is:

What kind of longevity do you get out of an application? And, do you keep your rigs in the direct sunlight/winter/rain/snow/ etc. or any harsh type environment? Does it last 6 months, a year, two years? How does it handle continuous rain? I know it's a floor wax and is supposed to stand up to foot treatment but, it is intended for indoor use is it not? So, UV and direct sun, what's the honest real story.

I now have a full body paint rig and have built a drive under cover for it so, I won't be using the product but, I've just been wondering about it ever since I've seen people post on it. Thanks.
Scott

I can't answer your question about RMP #3 as it has only been on my RV for two months.

But below is a link to a picture of my 1973 boat. I used Polyglow on the boat 5 years ago.

This year the top of the boat is starting to show places where the Polyglow has worn through. The sides of the boat still look good. Ployglow says to put a new coat on each year but after applying the first 4 coats I haven't touched it. Next summer when I get the boat ready for use I will redo the top. I don't know if I will have to strip the old Polyglow or if I can get away with putting new coats over it. I will try RMP #3 to see if the two are compatible.
