Anyone help me with Goodyear tire code. I've done various searches but can't fine it. I know I've seen it on some post here. Trying to find out how old my tires are. Need to know how to read date code.
Thanks

The code is not Goodyear specific; it is a DOT standard. Look at the last 3 or 4 digits of the DOT code. They indicate the week and year of manufacture. For example, my tires codes end in 0405, indicating the 4th week of 2005. for older tires only a 3 digit date code was used, something like 229, meaning the 22nd week of 1999.
