OK, so we bought a Dual Power adapter that is supposed to allow us to run both A/C units simultaneously on our 1996 Winnebago Brave.

I am electrically incompetent, so I took the adapter to my RV mechanic back at our home base while there for a week or so and had him install it.

When I went to pick up the coach from him, everything seemed to be working as it should. He demonstrated that both fans worked simultaneously. At this point I am not sure if the units were on Cool or not...it could have just been fans.

We got down the road to South Texas for work...lo and behold, I can't get the dual air to work for love nor money. Both A/Cs work independent of each other, and both A/Cs work with the on board generator running.

Ideas??

What do you have for a shore line 30 or 50 amp?
If 30 amp only one AC will work at a time. They do have a
Shed Control that will switch between from one AC than back to the other.

When your a/c selector switch is set to run both a/c units, the front and rear air units both should run on shore power as long as the 30 amp and 20 amp connections to the power pole are not on the same circuit. Most power poles that are set up for 50 amp service should work ok.
Here is a link to my DIY install of the dual power adapter for my 30 amp coach. Maybe it will be of some help?

edit; One more thing, check the built in circuit breaker on the dual power adapter, maybe it was turned off accidentally, it has a maunal on/off switch

LOL!! Yea, that ws the very last thing I thought of, but it was on. I'll check out your DIY pics...at this point anything can help. Bill from Power Solutions is looking at pictures of the installation now. Hopefully he can find something too. Thanks for the help.

Great news. Called Bill from Power Solutions this morning and he walked me right through it. Dual air is SO much more efficient!
