I am considering subscribing to Mailbox Forwarding, Inc. to view my mail while galavanting around the counntry this summer. They notify you via e-mail of mail recieved and will scan and post to a secure web site any bills, etc. you receive. Has anybody on this fine forum used this service and if so, what do you think of it?

The service sounds like a better option than FMCA Mail Forwarding because I was just paying to have some junk mail (Class A) forwarded to me. I don't believe that they forwarded pure junk mail.
I might just be concerned about privacy. If they open your mail and scan and forward bills that could be a double edged thing.

I've used a mail forwarding service for aboout ten years. The first one was Mail Box Etc. and they were very efficient but I did not have them opening mail, faxing etc. to me. I did have it set up that they forwarded my mail at my request to different locations as I traveled. Later I switched to a small businees much closer to home that performed the same or similar service. This one kind of sorts the mail and holds magazines and other "junk" mail until I return from a trip. This is all made easier by the fact that I now check my credit cards online and pay online. I have switched to email invoices for the businesses that do that. My fixed exenses are all automatically paid by my bank about the first of each month. This works well for me.

I have used Texas Home Base for four years now, they offer a lot of different services. I am very happy with them.
