I found a source on the internet for a 98 deg C thermal fuse and have ordered 10. They do not come with the connectors or plastic sleeve, but I will get the connectors at an auto parts store, and reuse the sleeve.

They have different quantity pricing, 10 are $1.10 each.

The site is Goodmans

Hopefully they will be at home when we get back on Monday.

I used my last spare in Quartzsite, I think it was the high winds.

I just completed adding the disconnects to the ends of the fuses I ordered. Couldn't find the right size (3/16 inch) at Autozone but did find them at NAPA, & 10 to a box.
NAPA P/N's 784458 & 784459

All total, with shipping, these cost about $2 apiece.

Of course, now that I have them I'll probrably not need them.

Thanks for the info, I have ordered the fuses. Anything special about the connectors on the end of the fuses? Are they a standard automotive type connector?

Did you have to order the connectors from Napa, or did you find them in a Napa auto parts store?

Hi Pat,

They are standard auto disconnects, but a bit smaller than usual. I didn't have to special order them, they were on the shelf at NAPA.

You will have to remove the plastic over the male connector, not hard, just pull out the metal connector. This will allow you to push the fuse assembly thru the plastic tube that is on the old unit.

Thank you for the heads up.

Have not found a subistute for these, only a bypass that is at best temporary.
