Aux battery switch

HI, I'm new to RV-ing and this forum. I own a 1993 Winnebago Vectra and I have a problem that I was hoping to get some advice about.
It's with the the Aux Batt switch. I pushed the off side and now it wont turn back on. If I hold it in the off position then I get house power but as soon as I release the switch I lose power again. When I hold it in the on position I get nothing. I'm hoping someone might have some advice.

Thanks for any info
Tom

You'll need to locate the solenoid and check the fuses usually right on it. Make sure both fuses are good. If they are, try using a jumper wire to trigger the solenoid to click on. If it still doesn't work, you'll need a new battery isolation solenoid. If it does work, you'll need a new switch.

Thanks Bob and Donna. I just read a previous thread and went out, started up the MH, Pressed hard several times on the on switch and it is now OK. Must be some corrosion on the switch contacts. Thanks again for the help.

Sorry I can't answer your question directly, but in the " Files " drop box left side of the blue bar under you welcome message, there is info that may help you identify the defective component , the disconnect relay on my coach has 2 fuses attached , and I'm not sure what would happen if one of the fuses was blown.
The disconnect relay is in the top, just right of center in this photo, yours might look the same.

Check house battery connections and voltages, if the power was low when you were trying to get the relay to operate, anything could happen.
