I am considering installing a backup camera in my 99 Adventurer 32T. As I recall the rig is prewired. Anyone know if that's true and if so where the wiring is located?

The rear wiring tucked inside the left rear corner channel molding that runs from top to bottom of the rig.

Thanks. I kind of figured it would be under one of the moulding pieces. Any idea where it comes out up front?

PbdBlue,
On my old 99 Adventurer 35C it was prewired for a SONY camera. Very expensive and Dag Gone It I can't think of the brand I used but they made adapters for both ends to go from the Sony cable to the cable for brand X??? Sure saved money and time as the b&w back up camera I used was about 450.00. Might even be cheaper now..Good Luck and

Well I found the camera end of the cable tucked inside the cap but I still can't seem to locate the end up in the cab. Anyone have any ideas? Otherwise I guess I can always run a new cable.

Did you try removing the interior trim piece from the A-pillar between the driver's window and the windshield? That's where they left extra CB coax bundled up in my coach.

Thanks for the suggestions. I checked both A pillars but finally found the cab end of the cable in the area behind the video control center in the cabinet next to the tv. Snipped off the Sony connectors and added my own. Now I'm ready for the camera and monitor install!
