OK - it's really not a BAD design, it's a dreadful error!!! I'm talkin' about the way the refrigerator door opens in our Access! Sure the doors open, and I can put food into and take food out of the refrigerator and freezer. I thought I could use the space inside differently - but, boy was I wrong! The refrigerator is next to the bathroom wall and the doors open just fine. They DO NOT open wide enough to get the shelf out of the freezer! Someone obviously doesn't use these things BEFORE they go into production. I'm not a fan of the Access, although my husband seems to like it. Now, he must live with my complaints and can easily see that Winnebago just doesn't make me happy. And... you know what they say... "if Momma ain't happy, then nobody's happy".

HO boy! Well, in an attempt to keep Sally's Mom happy... thus all her family happy... it is possible that the door hinges can be reversed, so that the door opens the other way, and wider? It is possible to do that with most home refrigerators, and if your husband can do it in the Access... Sally's mom will be happy!!!

Thanks for the reminder, Paul. The particular Norcold model in our coach can't be reversed, but it certainly is/was a good idea. My Mr. Wonderful "coaxed" the shelf in question out of it's slots and into new ones - just to keep me happy. The shelf responded to some muscle, geometry angles, and a few interesting words - along with lots O praise from "Momma".
