Several weeks ago our air wouldn't work and someone told us it probably needed to reset. About 8 hours later it did work. Now the air won't come on at all. The heat pump works fine. We called 4 coleman authorized warrenty centers before we found 1 who will work on basement air. I said I hoped it is the thermostat but he said that is rarely the cause. Glad it happened now as the warrenty runs out 3-31. Course they can't see us until 3-10. Anyone out there ever had a problem with yours?

Could be the reversing valve - mine didn't go to cool once but then started working. You might try switching back and forth a number of times.

I have a 2004 Meridian. After it was about a year old, I noticed if the outside temp was in lower 70's the air kept coming on and off every 3-5 minutes. Sometimes it wouldn't come on at all if outside temp was lower. Called a Winny dealer in Tulsa and the air service center in Tulsa, neither one could make a guess. Called a Winny dealer in Oklahoma City, the service manager said it sounded like a sensor in the outside coils (never can remember it that's the evaperator or condenser coils). Since I was going to Forest City for other work, decided to let them find the problem. They said they replaced a sensor in the outside coils which is supposed to keep the coils from freezing up. They claimed that fixed the problem but it was and has been too cold for me to actually check their fix. Maybe yours if something that simple also. Good luck.
