Question Basement Heat/Air

Last nite my electric heat would not come on. The outside temp was above 60. The gas heat did work. This morning here in Vegas with the nice weather we're having, the A/C is working with no problem. Is that just a glich or something I should dig into?

if you set the stat more than 3 or 4* over ambiant they will lock out. if you find a fix let us know. love our heat pump, hate the stat.

Had a similar problem last week. I just reset the stat to off then back to Elec. and all was well. Be careful as to the temp setting being too high as the previous reply stated.

On a Winnebago basement heat pump, setting the stat more than 3 degrees higher than room temp DOES NOT lock out the unit. It DOES cause the LP furnace to come on IN ADDITION to the heat pump until the set temp is achieved.
