Hello all, it's been a while... I'm having a slight mildew problem in the carpeted ceiling above the shower, and want to replace the OEM fan with a "Fantastik" fan, to move more air. Can I use the same hole, or same frame, or do I need to remove the existing frame and start with a clean rooftop? Any advice would be helpful.

To move more air, I would recommend changing the vent cover. I put on two Ramble vent covers to replace the maxair vent covers. This created a dramatic increase in air flow for both fans.

I don't know if yours would be the same, but our '05 Adventurer's bath fan was a Fantastic Fan. I contacted Fantastic, and for a reasonable amount was able to upgrade it with a rain sensor and thermostatic control.

There was a switch offered to override the rain sensor while showering, but I find it very easy to manually control that while in the shower.

If you buy a new Fantastic Fan yous should get everything you need to replace the existing fan.

On the Suncruiser and Sunrise 35L the OEM fans are Fantastic Fans according the the part manual on the Winnebago Web Site. The Suncruiser parts list has it listed explicitly as a Fantastic and the Sunrise while it does not name it a Fantastic has the same breakdown drawing and parts numbers in the component listing.

I am not sure how much you will benefit by replacing one Fatastic Fan with another. Perhaps you need to run the fan a few minutes longer after showering or need to remove wet towels etc before shutting off the fan and closing up the bathroom after showering.

I had the same problem in my Adventurer and tracked it down to the kids who would not turn the fan on while showering and then leave their soaking wet towels closed up in the bathroom.
