We have an 04 Journey 39K. The vanity lights on either side of the bathroom sink have suddenly stopped working. There are 4 bulbs in each strip, the kind you push in and twist. The on/off is a rocker switch and right next to that rocker is the bathroom fantastic fan one. It works. The electricial plug in there also works. We checked both the 12 volt box and the breaker box and both looked fine. What else should we do or look for?

Thankfully there is a window in there so at least during the day you can see what you're doing but at night it's kind of interesting

Thanks for any help, Savannah

If you have a test light or meter remove one light bulbs, turn the switch on,now take the one test lead and touch the outside of the light socket, take the other test lead and touch the center of where the end of the light bulb would touch if it were installed, your test light should come on or the meter should read 12 volts DC + or -.

It sounds like you have a loose connection somewhere, or possibly a bad switch. Do all the other 12 volt items in the coach work? Have you checked the circuit breakers or 12 volt fuses? It would be very unusual for all four bulbs to burn out at the same time.

I think I would first check the 2 volt fuses/breakers to make sure nothing is tripped. Then possibly remove the wall switch and see if there is power to the switch. If it is the switch, they are very easy to replace.

There is no power to the bulb socket and there is no power to the switch. All other 12 volt stuff works and the switch for the fan which is right next to the light switch works. We checked again the breakers and the 12 volt system. Any other ideas for us to try? Thanks

Are there any 12 volt fuses for the interior circuits, or are they breakers. If they are fuses they can sometimes be blown and are hard to see. If you can figure out which fuse it is, check to see if the fuse socket has power. If it is a breaker try reseting it, even if it looks like it is ok. Also check the connections to the breaker or fuse panel, just in case one of the wires has vibrated loose.
