Once again, I have inadvertently turned off the engine battery and caused myself some unnecessary worry. This is about the third of fourth time I have done this (likewise for the coach batteries). I should expect it sooner. They are right at the entrance step. It is a great spot for shutting them both off as you leave the coach, but it is very easy to accidentally turn them off with your foot or in this case with the battery compartment cover. I wish they would put them at least higher. I have talked to others that have done the same thing.

Although this was a fix so someone wouldn't accidentally put out a slide could work for your problem. Maybe paint it with red paint for any sneaky fingers.

I will be on the lookout for one. My battery compartment top just barely misses the two switches, so it might not work. It would certainly be worth a try. Thanks

Two options
1: Save some popsicle sticks
2: Buy a bag of Craft Sticks (Same thign)

Now, cut them about in half (They are way too long) or even 3rds.. Glue a couple of layers together and paint to match the control panel (Black?)

Glue them either side of the switch (NOTE: This is my project for this week after pulling the exact bonehead stunt of killing the batteries this week)

My two battery cutoff switches are located on the wall about 2 inches from the floor on the middle step of the exit. It is nice to be able to reach in as you are leaving the coach for long term storage and shut things down. Unfortunately I seem to hit it with my foot when I leave or enter the coach or when I am working on the batteries which are underneath the middle step. It is on a carpeted wall.
