Getting ready to leave on Wednesday so cranked up the MH and it would not turn over. Used the auxillary system to start then let if run for an hour. After letting it sit for another hour it would not start so I know we need a new one. Any battery recommendations for my 30' sightseer?

Check to see if it has water. Will never charge without it ....Sams Club has batteries at a reasonable price and some with large CCA's.Good luck.

I keep water in my house batteries but the chassis is a closed system and is imprinted not to add water.

Any brand you recommend to get/avoid?

Any good automotive battery (DieHard, Interstate, etc.) with the appropriate cranking amps should do fine.

Thank you all for the input. I went to NAPA and got another battery, which they put in, that had all the appropriate specs.

I also bought a small cordless compressor for the tires since summer is coming.

Looking forward to a great trip now.

Thank you everyone,
Christina
