Hello all, I have a 05 40FD bed slide out on drivers side that contacts at the top first when extended then the bottom contacts, after looking at the inside trim foam seal, I noticed the seal is tapered and thus the slide out tilts the top down towards the coach, is this normal? I purchased from an individual recently and he informed we of it and that it had been this way new. No issue as of yet but I would like to repair before an issue occurs. Thanks for any help. Chris

As you see from my sig block, I have the same floor plan. You'll probably hear from others first, but I'll take a look later this week when I fire it up for the first time this spring. You'll find a lot of strange lifting moving up/down, etc. with slides, jacks that you'll need to identify and figure out what's normal and what's not. LOL
This is only my 2nd summer w/ mine; still getting used to things.
BTW, you'll also see on this forum a lot about battery drain, what charges what; all the big coaches seem to have issues in that regard too.
