Bedroom slide creep

Hi again,
Our 2006 Journey 36G has been parked outside for about 30 days. During that time it hasn't been started and we just noticed that the lower portion of the bedroom slide has creeped out about an inch and a half. I haven't tried cycling the slide out and back in again. Is this a hydraulic valve issue, or is it just an adjustment?

Thanks, Dan

If an HWH system, when my slide drifted open replacement of the "extend solenoid" cured the problem.

Had the same problem. It was my 'extend' solenoid. Before you replace that, suggest you do cycle the slide in-out a few times and hold the button down for 3 - 4 seconds once it retracts.

Yes, I agree with others, it is definitely a solenoid problem. I have three slides plus levelers and there are 10 solenoids for all that. I had three of them leak and when they leak, it creates quite a mess at the pump, I had to keep topping off HWH fluid till I could get them replaced.

I just live with it. Been happening over the past year and a half. No leakage to ground so no losing hydralic fluid. I check it periodically when in storage, and bring it back up tight. When it starts to leak or gets to be bothersome I'll replace the solinoid.

Yep, me too. Only happens in storage over a month or so. Never happens at home or on the road, go figure. Don't sweat the small stuff
