My bedroom slide is making noises when being extended, or drawn back in. I don't see a way to lubricate anything. Anyone know how to lube this slide?

On the underside, I use a silicone spray to lubricate all the areas that "slide" or move. On the top & the sides, when washing the coach, I also wash the rubber seals when the slides are out. Then wipe talcum powder to the rubber seals. Is your "noise" coming from the slide rubber chafing/groaning, or does it sound loke it's mechanical or hydraulic related?

Try checking the owners manuals for recommendations. Lacking help there, check with HWH as they make the slideout mechanism. They are very helpful.

Freddy, I asked the tech at HWH the same question last week, and his answer was to use NOTHING, absolutly nothing on the mechanism.. He refered me to Winnebago for advice on the seals. Winn.'s tech advised talc, unscented or even baby powder on the seals. When I told him that this was not what the manual advised, ( 303 I believe), he said, "I know, but that stuff will cause a build up, and become messy".. He said that no protectorant was necessary for the seals. You may want to take a shot on the phone and see what story you get.rgr..

Thanks for the replies. The living/dining slide is easy to get to. The bedroom slide is - as far as I can see - inaccessible.
