I have gotten some advice on a prior on getting a new HD tv for my junk 20" RCA.

I look at the cabinet and I can't figure out how to remove the old tv. The only screws I see are the one's on the bottom panel.

Any advice?

One way or another, you no doubt have a metal strap running from each side across the top of the TV holding it down. On mine, I had to remove a thin piece of plywood under the overhead cabinet to get to the nuts holding the strap down. On my front TV, I got to the nuts by removing the trim around the TV. You'll likely have to figure out exactly how yours is mounted on your own, unless someone with exactly the same rig can respond!!

On our we had to remove the little dowel plugs on the front frame to get access to the screws holding it on then on each side (front sides there was a nut on each side holding the bracket that holds the TV once these are removed (tight squeeze) the TV should pull straigt out, Also the band holding the TV has a glue substance on it so it all comes out in one piece

He does not say what model MH he has. But non our 2001 Winn Adventurer. I had to remove the upper and lower trim that is held on with brads. Than remove the lower the lower panel about 8 screws. THan loosen up the metal clamp. Than wrestle the TV out.

Hi Ron:

Did you figure it out yet? On mine, I removed the screws on the bottom panel--loosened the strap--removed the wood lip on the front/bottom. As has been said, it is a tight fit, but it WILL come out. It takes a lot of twisting and pulling. Good luck.
