First off, MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all. You have been a great help over the past year to us new guys and we really appreciate everything done via these forums.

On to my question. We have an 06 Journey and we already swapped out the main TV with a 32" LCD. Now I want to tackle the bedroom TV.

QUESTION IS... Is the "wooden case" around the little bedroom TV completely removable? It looks like if we can just take the TV and entire case out, we would have a nice flat wall above the dresser to mount a swivle bracket and a nice 22" LCD. Has anyone successfully done this? Any problems? Advise? Pictures? Thank you all so much..

We have a 2005 Meridian 36G. When orig rear TV went bad we replaced with 26 in Sony LCD mounted as follows.
Wooden front panel surrounding TV removed, Rebuilt with new front same size as screen opening of tv. A 45 deg bevel used on inner edge of wood surrounding tv. Also 1 in shelf inside new front pannel for TV to set on. Foam sticky tape around TV and on shelf for cushion. TV was installed last by sliding TV up into place from below and behind after front Panel was installed into place. TV held in place by bungee straps and eye bolts in back side of front panel, reached in from below to hook, a bit tricky but great finish look. Bottom of compartment was installed last from below to finish job.
