Just completed upgrading the TV in the bedroom.
I removed the 19" TV and cabinet. Replaced the cabinet with the cabinet and mounting plate for the 05 Journey 32T. Replaced the TV with a Sharp 20 LCD with Black case same as Winnebago uses except for the case color. We can now walk around the bed without having to lean over. Pat is very happy being that is her side of the bed.

Good for you! Replacing the rear TV is one of the first modifications I will do to our new coach after we get it next week.

The CRT is coming out and a 15" Sharp LCD is going in its place. We will gain more storage space, have less heat generated and lose a few pounds in the process.

How about posting some pictures of your changeout?

That's great! LCD TVs do add quite a bit to the interior comfort of the RV by being less intrusive into the living space.

You can see nowadays that LCD TVs have just about replaced conventional tube types TVs both front and rear.

One such extreme example that I enjoyed seeing in the basement storage area of a high line RDP was a storage space that was about 8" wide and as tall as the rest of the compartments. Well when you push a button, out comes a 32 inch HDTV plasma display screen on a carriage. Now that's what I call saving space!
