Beds are like rocks

Just breaking in my new Winnebago with the claimed new sleep system twin beds and a pull out flexsteel loveseat. They are hard and I mean hard not firm. Anything anyone has done to make them more comfortable as they are almost impossible to sleep on for a full night. Thanks from our aching backs

I recently posted this thread on the Sprinter Chassis page...
Great "fix" for HAB floor plans.

On the first couple shakedown cruises, my wife commented that the ground outside would probably be softer.

We went with a 4 inch memory foam mattress topper. I think ours came from Costco but there are many sources. Huge improvement, probably one of the best upgrades we did.

Only complaint I have is that with the slides in, before you couldn't access the drawers in he opposite wall as they come right up to the bed, but the closet could still open. With the topper, the closest doors are now stuck shut with the slides in. Not a big deal, just need to plan the packing at either end of the trip accordingly.

Many RV'ers have used this solution - Costco or Sam's sell them to Fit - After doing the Coach we did the one at home - Love it.

Best of Luck,

Please post your model and year.

We have a Navion 24V which has twin beds and a Flexsteel pullout sofa. We love our deluxe sleep system. I have never slept in an RV with this comfortable of mattress unless you include my sleep number bed in my last RV.

We have a Via and the twin beds are hard. When you say deluxe sleep system, are. You talking the Froli system? It is a seemingly easy after market add on. I'm curious if it helps. Thanks.

Yes, the Froli system. I believe you can purchase them separately, just Google froli. The beds feel more like a mattress/box spring combo with a firm mattress.
