Hello to all. We just purchased a Vista 32K. This is our 1st coach and quite a change from the slide-in campers we've had.
Has anyone else noticed that the black and grey valves and labels are reversed? Even the brochure is wrong. I looked at the plumbing diagram and it's obvous that the black tank is to the rear of the coach and grey is to the front. Of course that was confirmed when I dumped for the first time. Is this a Winnebago initiation that I was unaware of?

Mine are gray to front and black to the rear. That is what comes out so I assume they are correct. I think this is kinda standard for all RV's.

I don't think there is any standard on this.
Mine is black front, grey rear.
Not a Winnebago, but just relating the difference.

Mine has black at the front and gray at the rear, so there doesn't appear to be a "standard" configuration. I use a clear back-flushing connection between the outlet and the hose, and it's pretty obvious what's coming out of each side, so I know that mine are labeled correctly.
That being said, Freud would probably have something to say about the fascination of watching the "stuff" come out the above-mentioned clear fitting.

My black tank dump - rearmost - has a black handle.
The gray tank dump - front - has a gray handle.
Imagine that!

Ithink it all depends who is working when they build that part of the coach. The labels were reversed on my 03 Horizon also. Good Miles

Our Sunrise has black at the front and gray in the rear. I use a clear connection between the outlet and the hose, and it is clear what is coming out of each, so ours are labeled correctly.
We have 36M floor plan it has side hallway and the bathroom is all contained in one room and the toilet is just about center of the motorhomne and drains directly into the black tank.

The only thing consistent about RVs is their inconsistency.

Well mine is different than all of yours! Gray in front, black in the middle, and grey in the back.
