Blend door problem, 94 vectra

BLEND DOOR PROBLEM
The heater/ac blend doors have stopped working on my 94 Winnebago Vectra. Can anyonbe tell me where the system gets its vacuum. The dash control is vacuum also and the small tubing goes into the right side of the dash board which i cannot access.
I found the round vacuum accumulator which has two hoses going to the power brake under the coach. The SCS fridgette drawings are great but do not show where the vacuum pump is located.

Is it gas or diesel? A diesel doesn't create vacuum so it has a vacuum pump, usually up front somewhere. Gas engine draws it from the intake manifold. You mentioned power brakes, usually diesel has air or air over hydraulic. Do your power brakes work as usual? That would indicate the leak is after accumulator and before dash control. If it's a gas engine, you can start engine and spray carb cleaner on vacuum lines. A leak will suck cleaner in and engine idle will change, identifying bad hose/connection.

If my memory serves me right underneath the coach and in front of the front axle there is a round disc the size of a hockey puck that has three hoses attached (vacuum hoses). This is the vacuum pump or venturi and I believe it is a VW part. Easy to replace, hard to find. Check hoses first. Lighstein (spelling) in forest city should be able to find the part. Maybe Napa if you have the old one in hand. Rkl

I got a reply from Spartan they need my vin again. Maybe they can tell me where the vacuum comes from. My Vectra is diesel and has air over hydrolic brakes. The round accumulator, about the size of a hardball, has two 1/4 inch id hoses going under the front and connecting to a device at the back of the power brake cannister. I don't know if this supplies or get vacuum.
