Blisten steering stabalizer??

on a 2002 Ford F53 I just installed the stabalizer and now I have to hold my steering wheel about an 1/8 turn to left to go straight. it did not have a stabalizer before so I had to put the mounting kit on. I followed the directions and double checked the measurements and the wheels turn completely in both directions. does the stabalizer have a center position on it trying to keep you straight and if so do I need to move my mounting bracket a little bit? I really did not have a steering issue before and am now wondering if I should just take it back off. can not get back to it untill next week. Thanks
