Blower fan squeal

I have a 2003 Winnebago Adventurer with the basement air system. I am now getting a squealing noise when the blower fan comes on. Is it a bearing in a motor which needs lubrication or does the motor need to be replaced? Can I do the repair myself or does it need to go to a shop and at about what cost. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

It can be done as a DIY project if you have the skills and tools. There is a detailed write up on the subject as completed by one of our members "Duner".

Dealer charge for labor just to pull & replace the unit is anywhere from $300 at a place where they know what they are doing to $600+ at Camping World. Motor is normally $160-$200. Bearings aren't much.
