Body repair

While getting ready before de-winterizing and walk around inspection, found that the Stone deflector (may I say horsetail type) at the back of my 2000 Winnebago Adventurer had frozen to the ground at one point and as the result of thawing and refreezing had pulled the lower Backwall Trim partly down. On further checking, found that there was some dry-rot up inside the back wall. I do not know the extent of the situation, and am wondering if anyone has had any experience with this and what the repairs might entail.
Looks like removing the bumper is only a matter of undoing 4 bolts for a further examination, then how to replace the wood section between the metal sheets is the next question.
Please tell me this is not a major repair.
