A couple weeks ago as I was poking around the MH, while looking in the RR wheel well I noticed two big nuts that were loose. They were on large bolts that obviously held the body to the frame. They were easily seen, one in front and one behind the duals. They shortly got cranked down tight.

Now we are at the Winnebago factory for repairs to our end cap - self-inflicted damage (I'll let you figure out how). Had the mechanic check the rest of the mounting bolts. Wouldn't you know it, he found two more loose.

Who ever thinks to check these items?

Just food for thought.

Good Post Ding-A-Ling. Never thought about body bolts coming loose. I have checked other misc nuts and bolts, but so far haven't found any problems. That is how I found broken hose clamps the first year I owned the coach new. I will check the heavy stuff now.

Good question. The two I saw were backed off about 1/8". My hunch would be they came loose, most likely never fully tightened at assy. Tech said he used impact wrench to snug others up
