There's also a sequence of jumpers that dictate what sheds first, then second...etc. I rewired my 30amp EMS, so it can only shed the AC's and nothing else. I don't like microwaves and coffee pots shutting down... and without either air conditioner, it never trys to exceed the 30amp max.
In addition, I split the 20amp circuit feeding the rear air conditioner, so that I can feed it seperately and independently ...with an extension cord when on shore power. This in effect, comes pretty close to having a 50amp @120VAC service and is as simple as it gets.
