I have an 01 adventurer which had the brakes repaired under the Bosch recall in 2004. Since then I have received several recall notices about the brakes, which I ignored since mine had been repaired and were not giving me any problems.
I recently got another recall notice on the brakes and a friend told me he thought they had been some upgrades to the original fix and I might need to take it back in. I am always hesitant to have someone "fix" somthing that is not broken.
Are any of you owners aware of mulitple fixes or have you had yours done more than once?
Thanks for posting.

I am not positive on this but I believe the latest recall is for Work Horse models from 2005 and up. I would not fix it unless the repair they did was of the same problem that this recall addressed.

If you received the notice from Workhorse you should indeed have the service performed. If you had service done prior to the recall you do not have the new ones and they could cause problems. I believe the latest notices were sent out Sept. 17. 2010. If you received it by all means have it completed. It will cost you nothing for the replacement calipers and a complete inspection of all components. It's pretty much a win win situation.
