How do you suppose this happened? This is the window over the dinette in the driver-side slide of my 35J.

Give up? We're leaving out in the morning for a long weekend trip. The last time I parked I didn't open the slides because we didn't have anything to unpack. This window in the driver's side slide broke when I started opening the rear slide on the passenger's side. The blind was closed. I heard a pop and saw the blind move and then it sounded like gravel falling. Then I heard the crickets outside.

The only thing I can figure is that it was air pressure. Most of the glass fell in like it was sucked in rather than pushed out. And let me tell you that is an unholy mess to clean up! I would never have guessed that this unit was tight enough that a slide moving would cause enough air pressure to pop a window.

I've patched it up enough to get down the road for the weekend (I hope). Nothing a little duct tape can't hold together. I just know I'll end up telling the story over and over. "Yeah, see it broke Thursday night."

That's a new one!
That window might have had a screw or something just barley touching the glass so when pressure was applied it shattered... Amazing... I'll bet is was a mess to clean up... Sorry that had to happen....
