Has anyone noticed brown, rust looking stains under the front mask? I also see them on the panel under the door of my 38T that looks like it has a strip of that material on it.

What year is your coach? Basic answer is YES, it happens eventually on most if not all. Some folks say it is mold. Whatever, eventually (5 year or so) unless you rig is stored inside more than it is used ouside the film will be crazed/cracked and look terrible. The are other discussions on the forum about removing it, which many of us have done. IMHO, the vinyl mask (regardless of brand) is a waste of money that will cost you even more money unless you sell/trade within 3 years.

I have the same mask on my toad. It was a waste of money. I removed part of it from the hood as it was chipped and yellowed after one year. Strip it off on a hot day. You'll still have to use solvent and a plastic scraper to remove the left over adhesive.

It was good to see that I am not the only one having this problem. My '08 Itasca Suncruiser 38T has the same issue. I have tried to remove the stains using cleansers but to no avail. I have been hesitant to use an abrasive cleanser. Guess I will just have to live with it or take the film off.

We have seen 2 units that have done this. They were both still under warranty, and 1 had the mask replaced at CDI while travelling, and the other CDI paid to have replaced locally.
