Yesterday we finally got to go and see the progress that is being made on the bus.
Rear
Front
The base coat has been completed on the bottom of the coach. We chose to keep that the same color. The top part has been primed and will be next. They put one of two coats of clear coat on before we left. See how shiny it is

Hopefully, they will be finished next week. We are going to be needing it 2 weeks from today. I have full respect for the guy that lived in his while it was being painted in Mexico. The fumes were really strong, even in this open air building.
Will be posting more after more is done.

It is looking good, for sure. I wish I had access to a building like that....I'd paint mine myself.

I am curious why he is applying the clear coat to the lower color before he has applied the base coat to the rest of the rig. I would think he would want to do all the base coat colors then clear the entire coach at one time. Is he adding the colors to the slide side walls or are you just going to keep them white?

You are correct about the fumes. The two part paints are pretty noxious....that's why the guys wear full body suits and most of them walk a bit sideways

if they've been doing that work for many years.
