"Buzzing" noise front of Winnebago UFO

There was a thread last year about the "buzzing" noise in the front area of the UFO chassis. All indications were that the noise was a leak in the ball canister resievor. I replaced the resievor last year and thought the problem was fixed. I just had the AC compressor replaced again, this one lasted 11 months, and the shop tells me the leak is actually at the control switch. Does the vacuum hose go to the switch? Does anyone have a part number for the switch? I looked at the Winnebago online parts catalog and couldn't find the switch listed.

Didn't know if I should post here or on the Workhorse forum so I am posting in both locations.

Don't know if your gas chassis is the same as the DPs up front, but take a look at this thread. Since yours is a pusher, you may have the same dash ac/heat setup. This is a very common failure point in the Winnie diesels.

Yep! Mine was bad at this same location. As a matter of fact I think it was your post Tom that helped me fix mine.

UFO, if the system is vacuum operated,check all the vacuum lines for cracks or splits at the connection points on ALL the lines. Everything is connected together.
Now I'm going to date myself,but years ago I would install an extra vacuum ball in the systems. to smooth out the vacuum level.
If you have a vacuum gauge you might be able to see the needle shake if there is a big enough change.
That could lead you to a defective diaphragm in one of the control valves.
Just a few thoughts from a dusty area of the mind.

The shop told me they traced the leak to the switch, I tried to squeeze under the dash to see for myself and couldn't get there. I have inspected all of the lines and connections that I could access and take the shop at their word. Looking to see if I can find the switch and replace it myself to save some $$$.

I called Winne and they tell me my non Workhorse AC parts were supplied by Victory Climate Systems. They gave me the part number for the complete Control Panel. I have left messages with them to see if I can order the 7 position mode switch separately.
