My buddy is ordering a new Cambria. Anyone that has one have any suggestions I could pass on regarding options, etc???

I think I would order:
air springs
auto leveling jacks
power mirrors
rear view camera
tinted dual pane windows
satellite system
roof vent
water filtration
auto entrance step
patio awning
generator
inverter
exterior wash station

I totally agree with kjburns with the exception of the roof top satellite system. I prefer the manual tripod for heavily treed areas. Add heaters to your power mirrors for winter driving. The air springs are worth their weight in gold. Check you CCC after jacks add on. They may take up to much of it. One thing for sure you will love the Cambria.

If they haven't gotten the Winnebago retail price list yet, get it.

Winnebago will fax or email it. It shows just what the options are and the cost. The brochures often don't do a good job breaking it down.

As far as which options, kind of depends on what they plan to do. Will they be keeping it for a long time? If so, get the options THEY want. If they think they might be trading it in or up soon, there's two ways to go. Typically options add nothing to what a dealer would give at trade in. Money spent on options is money lost in that case. Second way is to think about resale. Desireable options may help it sell if they plan to do that.

Most importantly, use it and have fun!

My friend ordered a 28B ( I think that's the model #) from Lichtsinn today. He got every option on Kjburns list except In-Motion Satellite. He'll probably keep it a few years. He's real excited to get it. Probably take 6 to 8 weeks he reported.

Actually I wasn't thinking of the in-motion dish, just the automatic version. We have one on our Tour and a tripod for those times we want to run two receivers. We wouldn't use an in-motion dish either. Good luck to your friend.

I am parked in SW Florida with my Cambria. These things sure attract a lot of attention. One thing really surprises me however. I do not like the horse shoe shaped dinning/living area. Most people just love it. I have had one offer to sell it, (the horse shoe shaped dinning/lounge).

I have the Winnebago Aspect version.
Ours came with just about every ooption there was.
The King Dome in Motion Sat. has its advantages. Wife likes it she can watch TV while on the road.

Looking at a 30C - What sort of mileage is everyone getting with the 305-hp 6.8L Super-Duty V10 SEFI Triton® engine ?

My guess is about 7 - 10 ?

Bill: You pretty much nailed it. I have 5000 miles on my 26-A and I got 8.7 on the trip down to Florida from Ohio running 62-65 with Malibu toad. I am not a cowboy, I don't nail the pedal to the metal on take off's. I don't expect to get much better out of it. Around home on short drives, I was only getting about 6.8 for the 1st 2000 miles. I will gladly take more if it comes.
I find with the 2.7 mpg over my 34 ft Suncruiser, I can go about the same distance between fueling stops with the 55 gal vs 75 gal tank.
