Caravan

I know I am a little off subject but for health reasons I have had to put the motorhome to bed for awhile but would like to visit Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont to brag about visiting all fifty states. Would like the forum members if they have any experience with bus caravans. I am looking at 'Caravans' that seems go where I want to go. Leaves and ends in Boston and stops off at some interesting looking places. Just how reliable are these companies and would like some pro or con feedback.

We know several people who have gone on bus tours and really liked the experience. Unfortunately, don't know which companies, and that could make the difference between a good time or a disaster.

For questions like this, Google can be a great source of information but, remember the hilarious TV ad about "If it's on the internet, it must be true"

If you are talking about an organized tour where you use your own rv then we have been on one of them.

It was very well organized. There was a rally master and tail gunner who lead and followed up on the caravan. The daily drives were moderate to easy. You could drive in a group of two to three rv's or travel alone your choice. We had a detailed book defining the route and stops along the way. The tour included most of the local attractions and several local interest stops that we would not have seen or know about on our own. Several meals were provided. One of our dinners was in a church basement in Manitoba put on by the local church women's group. Sometimes we carpooled to attractions and sometime there was a bus to take the group.

We went on the polar bear caravan to Churchill. I know others we went and stayed in liberty harbor on a caravan. You only hear good reviews about them.

They are somewhat pricey but worth it.
