I don't know about your's but on our MH the vinyl flooring went about halfway into the bedroom and living room. We replaced the carpet with Allure and found the old kitchen and bath vinyl only went part way under the carpet.

i replaced my carpet with allure. check my post with pictures.
the kitchen had vinyl strips glued down. we had to use a vibrating cutting tool to get them up. the bathroom vinyl was loosely glued and stapled. in extended only a few inches into the hallway. the carpet-vinyl interface was about 3/4'' carpet doubled back on itself and stapled, lots of staples. we used the same interface at the doghouse and front seats where we did not replace the carpet.
