Chassis code

I am new here. I am trying to find out where the rpo codes are located at on my 1989 Winnebago Chieftain. I have contacted Chevy and Winnebago and neither one has the information any more. I have already gotten most of the manuals for it. There are items I want to have on hand for it but need rpo code to identify correct parts. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Glad you're aboard. Have you tried going to a Chev dealer parts department with your VIN and asking if they can print one out for you from their parts fiche? Best of luck in find what you need. Enjoy your adventures and be safe.

I don't own my 1994 Damon anymore so I can't check, but a believe the RPO codes were in the glove box on passenger side. Good luck

JB7 (Vacuum booster) - Front Disk, Rear Drum
JB8 (Hydroboost) - Front Disk, Rear Drum
JB9 (Hydroboost) - Front Disk, Rear Disk

How do I know if I have hydroboost or vacuum booster?

The booster sits between the brake pedal and master cylinder. Vacuum and hydro look very different so compare the pics at some online distributors e.g. RockAuto with what you have.
