One of my challenges of MH ownership is getting the inside of the windshield clean and streak free. I am hesitant to put weight on the dash as I don't know how much weight it will support. I also end with streaks. What are some suggestions for a squeaky clean windshield inside?

On mine I use plain old windex and crumpled newspaper instead of a towel or rag. For some reason the newspaper leaves no streaks where a rag will leave streaks and lint. Now if I could only find a way to get the bugs to avoid the outside of the windshield I would be in heaven.

I get my wife to do mine.
But, I have sat on my dash before, I weigh upwards to 260#. I just try not to put my whole weight on it by keeping one foot on the floor and a knee on the dash. Over the wheel, I just lean in as far as I can with the wheel in my gut.

My neighbor and motorhome buddy bought a Glass Wizard Glass Surface Cleaner from QVC. My wife liked it and we bought one. Actually 2 as they come 2 in a package. These things are absolutely the BEST for cleaning motorhome windows, especially the inside of the windshield.
Quoting QVC below:
"Make your windows, mirrors, and tiles sparkle like you've never seen before. This set includes two Glass Wizard cleaning tools with wedge-shaped, flexible, pivoting heads. Their design conforms to curves and corners for a thorough treatment. For extended reach, they attach to any standard threaded pole, not included."
$19.75 for 2
Item Number V21408

Another vote for Invisible Glass but I do think most any window cleaner will work if your rag is clean. I use microfiber cloths (get them in a bag of three at Wally World). I only use them for cleaning glass, wash them, but never dry them in a dryer or with fabric softener. Hang them to dry. Usually no streaks.

I've got a Glass Wizard and it works great, 3specially on bugs on the outside with a little Windex.

On my last trip, I stopped at Wal-mart and purchased a 5" squeege with a short handle. I now spray the inside of the windshield, use the sponge side, flip it over and squeege it. Works really well. I got the idear from watching a professional window washers.

I use micro fibre towels. One wet with warm water and one to dry. Never leaves streaks.
