I saw some streaks of rust below one of my clearance lights above the windshield. I removed the orange lens and found a rusted mess. I checked all five and found them in the same condition. I had to chip the steel bracket out of the epoxy into which they were set, obtain new brackets and gaskets and epoxy them in, redrill the holes and use new stainless screws to attach the lens. This all could have been avoided if they used stainless steel when fabricating the brackets, probably pushing the price of the coach up by a buck. AND, they foamed the inside of the coach after the lenses were in place, not leaving any slack in the wires to the sockets (well, all but one) to change the bulb if needed. Arrgh...
I did get great service from Lichtsinn in obtaining the new brackets and gaskets ($2.10 and $1.25 each respectively) and they even told me to use NAPA 5 minute epoxy gel to install the new ones. Apparently not the first order for these brackets.
