This clock is dead. Where does one find a replacement with the mounting bracket that will attach itself to the wall by turning it?

Rather then replacing the clock, you can replace the movement. The battery operated quartz replacement movements only cost a couple bucks and are available at just about any craft store. You can either get one without hands and reuse the hands on your clock, or get one with hands and change the look of the clock.

Just about all the movements mount with the center shaft nut. Be sure to get one with or without the second hand to match your preference or existing hands.

We replaced our's with one of the SkyScan Atomic clocks from Sam's. It has digital display, inside and outside temps, and date. And it's always right, except when crossing time zones. Mounts with 2 screws and covers the round mounting plate of the old clock.
