Coach battery over-charging?

My 2000 Suncruiser has been in storage for a week, with no shore power. I do have a stock solar panel on the roof, however, which I believe is 10 watts. I checked the batteries today after a 15 minute drive, and found the voltage on the house batteries was 14.5V, which seems really out of line to me. My house batteries normally run about 13.5v after connected to shore power, and fully charged. Is there a controller for the Winnebago solar panel? If so, where do I find it? What does it look like? How do I test it?

The alternator puts out 14.5 volts or so. You probably saw the surface charge left by the alternator. If you put a load on the batteries the surface charge will dissipate and you will see what their voltage is.
