Hello people!
In my 2001 Adventurer when I turned on the fan for the coach heater floor ducts air came up from all the floor vents and did a good job heating the coach in cooler weather. Now, in my 2005 Suncruiser, I find that when I turn on the fan for the coach heater, the register vent just behind the doghouse has a negative pressure and will suck a sheet of paper to the vent but the rest of the vents in the coach are putting out warm air!! Any ideas on what gives with that?

Geofkaye, The furnace blower is at the rear of the coach same as the Adventurer was. With the furnace on the forward vents don't put out as much air as the rear and I would expect that. On the Adv. with the coach heater blower (which uses engine heat) going more air came from the forward vents and less from the rear. When the furnace turns on I hear a metalic sound in the rear as some kind of louver or trapdoor opens and when the coach heater operates I hear a similar sound in the front.

....I expect your correct without seeing hearing your rig.....strange way of installing a HVAC system though.....I'd surly question it's efficienty as you describe it.....at maximum a 400sq. Ft. room[trailer/motorhome/camper] should only require 8000 BTU's if insulated properly to maintain 72 degree temp at -10 degrees with a 10 mph wind......"IF" is the key word here....and you know as will as I do, there are very few unites made that will even come close to those numbers[mine is one]......geofkaye
