Collapsing water tank.

I have not been able to get help from Winnebago for my water problems on my 2012 Winnebago Via. Has anyone else noticed that their fresh water tank collapses as it empties?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Can you say more about not getting help from Winnie on a brand new coach? That sounds strange. What symptoms are you experiencing?

My HR Vacationer that I used to have had a 90 gal tank that was just about the width of the motorhome. It would sink in middle as it emptied.

To be sure your vent system is ok, you could fill the tank until it dumps out the vent / overflow. If that works and you're not leaking anywhere you should be ok.

I agree with Coachmanrvr. It sounds more like a vent problem. I would fill the tank until it comes out of the overflow / vent on top of the tank. It could be that there's something blocking it or perhaps the plastic tube that may be the overflow / vent was molded shut.
Either way, on a coach that new I would believe that Winnebago would cover it.

Good luck and let us know what you find.

When you say you have not had any help from Winnebago do you mean from your dealer or from the company itself?

Try calling 800-537-1885 ... have your serial number handy ...

I have found them to be very helpful.
